    Shower Room: Cubicle Shower, Toilet. Heating, electricity, bed linen, towels and Wi-Fi included. Laundry room with washing machine and tumble dryer (shared with other properties on-site). Terrace and gardens (shared with other properties on-site). On road parking. No smoking. Please note: This property has a security deposit of £100.. Utilising its elevated position, Bay Fort Mansions is a lovely Victorian villa overlooking Torquay Marina, Torre Abbey Sands and the stunning English Riviera coastline. Experience sunrise from the comfort of this sunny, south facing dining area with views inspiring you to discover the coastal delights right on your doorstep.

    With unrestricted views, guests can marvel at the annual firework displays, watch the amazing Red Arrows display as part of Torbay Regatta or simply relax and absorb the stunning panoramic views stretching along the coast.

    Torquay is home to an array of popular attractions, many of which are within short walking distance, including the marine themed Living Coasts. Other attractions in the town include the pre-historic caves at Kents Cavern, Babbacombe Model Village and a step back in time at Bygones.

    Torquay is also the birthplace of the world famous crime writer Agatha Christie, and many guests follow in her footsteps along the Agatha Christie Mile and discover what inspired her. For those in search of some tranquillity, then Cockington Country Park offers miles of woodland and parkland to explore.

    After an extensive period of restoration, Royal Terrace Gardens (Rock Walk) along Torquay seafront is now fully open to the public. Lovely well set out small apartment for 2 with outstanding views. Only issue was the common laundry which was down two flights of stairs and the tough walk back from the seaside due to the height above sea level. The property manager, Karla, was outstanding.

Wir hatten eine ganz wunderbare Woche in Torquay mit einer unglaublich schönen Aussicht aus dem Appartment (wie auf den Bildern). Man muss gut zu Fuss sein, wenn man in dem Appartement wohnt. Sowohl im Haus, wie in der Umgebung gibt es einige Treppen.

We had a lovely few days staying at BooHay. The apartment was very clean. The view from the window was breathtaking. (There was scaffolding around the window but it didn’t spoil the view for us). This was an excellent location, very clean and very comfortable.

I specifically booked it for the views over Torquay, but unfortunately they were not as expected, as scaffolding was over the main view from the apartment and we were not told about this until we had paid the balance of the holiday, nevertheless we still had a really good time albeit with not such a great view, but I suspect Covid hold ups had something to do with it. We just had a week in boohay and had a great time.We were unfortunate to have scaffolding around the apartment during our stay (covid 19's fault) which did slightly spoil what is a spectacular view! The apartment is spotlessly clean and well equipped, the location is not for everyone as it is on a steep hill but we would definitely stay there again. Great views , in fact unbeatable views of Torquay.

Great views , in fact unbeatable views of Torquay. Walking distance of Torquay, 70 steps down from road to Rock Walk and 188 steps down to road. Take is steady coming back up the steps . Very clean generally , needs carpet cleaning directly as you step into the apartment, kitchen tiny and cramped. No dishwasher , due to the tiny kitchen it would be difficult to do any cooking . The shower cubicle is small . Ceiling fans in lounge and bedroom great help as it got very hot with the sun poring in, in the afternoon. Blinds at the lounge windows are a bit of a nightmare to use, getting stuck , due to the way they have been set up. On street parking is hit and miss, sometimes having to park in the next street. After all the moans , we would come back again.

This is a great location as a base to see the many local attractions - even Exeter and Plymouth are within easy reach. Overall an excellent apartment.

2nd time we have stayed here.

2nd time we have stayed here. Beautiful apartment. So clean and comfortable. Think the only problem is that there isnt much parking outside and you need to be good on your feet as its a steep climb up and down to get to torquay. Other than that its a great place and would definitely recommend it.
