"This is truly a special place. The photos simply do not capture how beautiful the home, setting, and views are in person. The location is perfect—close to everything, yet peaceful and relaxing.This was our second stay, and we can confidently say we would not stay anywhere else in the Finger Lakes. It feels like our home away from home, and our dogs absolutely love it.For a weekend escape or a longer getaway, this is the place. Exceptional in every way."
Charming Lakefront Cottage in Heart of the Wine Trail: Seneca Fingerlake

"The house was great! It felt really clean aside from a few lake spiders or bugs (to be expected). It was perfect for the 2 of us. The view was incredible even though it rained for the majority of our stay. It was still perfectly relaxing. The owners are really responsive and easy to communicate with. The only real gripe is that I don't think there is enough warning about how physically have to get down to the cottage. You can't see it from the road and it's deep within the cliff. You have to park your car on the top of a hill and make your way down a very steep, long embankment where you come to more steep stairs down to the cottage. This made carrying luggage /groceries down and up extremely difficult and for someone with severe hip issues, it was almost unmanageable. I had to take breaks going up the stairs and hill. I knew there were stairs down to the lake but I had no idea how hard it would be to just get to the cottage itself (located much above the lake)."

"Everything was as advertised. We had 8 adults and 4 children and the room layout was great. Also - there were plenty of toys and things already there that the children enjoyed. Nice location equidistant to Penn Yan and Geneva and easy drives to many wineries. Would love to stay again next year."

"The location, amenities, and layout of the Lake House were perfect for my family of 6 adults. Host was very responsive to any questions. The house was very clean and well stocked when we arrived. I appreciated the welcome card and bottle of wine. It was very close to a lot of wineries, hiking trails, and waterfalls that we enjoyed. We also thoroughly enjoyed our time at the house playing games, pool, and ping pong, and hanging out on the deck and the dock. It was a memorable trip and we’d definitely go back again."

"I will echo the exceptional rating earned from previous guests. The location was perfect for us. It was on a secluded section of a lakeside road and was very quiet—we never saw nor heard any of the very few neighbors. We put the deck, grill and hot tub to good use. Inside was spotless with a great layout. The kitchen utensils and cookware are of very high quality and are in great condition. The hosts checked on our satisfaction upon arrival, midway and at the end of our stay. You will not be disappointed if you choose to stay at this property."
