“Was nice ”

“Our stay was brief so we really didn’t get to enjoy the property as much as we would have liked. It is rural and quiet which was a welcome experience versus the busy city life in Columbus, OH. The home had everything we needed to make our stay accommodating. The owners made exception and allowed us to bring all three of our dogs, which most properties only allow two amongst other restrictions while still advertising as “pet friendly”. “We had a wonderful time staying at this place in Dewittville right on Chautauqua Lake! The property was well kept, clean and the backyard was right on the water front. The hosts put in a new dock which made viewing the sunrise or sunset outstanding. The enmities like the washer and dryer and the pool was a real plus and came in very handy. It felt like we were staying right at home. The hosts were excellent too, friendly and very prompt in returning communication. I would recommend staying here……

“What a surprise we found at the Athenaeum, a grand hotel from the 19th century, on beautiful Lake Chatauqua. On arrival, we found ourselves entering a gated community spread along the lake shore, with wonderful 19th and 20th century summer homes, within walking distance of the hotel. The entry to the hotel opens into a large traditional open lobby where the front desk sits opposite a wide staircase to the second and third floors, alongside a comfortable bar area where one can order food and……
