"It was a great location"

"The nest was a perfect choice for our family break. We were a party of 3 and all enjoyed having our own bedrooms with very comfortable superking beds. The accommodation worked brilliantly for us, lots of space and comfort. The kitchen was well equipped and have everything we needed including a lovely welcome bag. On arrival one of the bedrooms wasn't made up, but the staff at the White Eagle pub sorted that out for us, as one of their bar staff was also a housekeeper. The only negative is the roof terrace. On our arrival day it was very warm and the terrace was swarming with flies around the pub kitchen vents, which made it unpleasant to sit outside. The view from inside the lounge towards the beach was much better anyway! We would all recommend the nest as a place to stay, so long as you don't need outside space."

"What a place! Location was phenomenal, direct access to the beach, view of the beach/sea and RAF Valley from not only the balcony, but also the living room, primary bedroom and all upstairs bedrooms. Comfortable and well equipped. We had a week of very warm weather for April, so much so I got a bit of sunburn, but when the heating did occasionally kick in, before I adjusted the thermostat down, I have no doubt this would be a suitable property all year round, as even mid winter, you could have the heating on and view the crashing waves from the comfort of the living room. I think the TV was on for less than a couple of hours throughout the week, total, as the scenery was far more impressive, ever changing and mesmerising. Beds were extremely comfortable, bedding excellent. The only comments I would have that aren’t wholly positive, but certainly not enough to stop me happily returning, are the spiral staircase, which I was completely aware of before I went, so use wasn’t an issue, but it was a bit wobbly/creaky, which was a little unnerving for some of the party, also we ended up hanging something off one step, to prevent banging our heads on the staircase, as we crossed the hallway. Finally, both “living floor” showers, primary en suite and family bathroom, required some mopping up after normal use, which wasn’t a major task, but long term I hope the water doesn’t cause further issues for the floor, or cieling of the floor below. Overall very happy with the property. Would recommend and intend on returning in the future."

"The exterior of the building was disappointing at first look though parking was great, lots of space , our room was spacious and suitable for a disabled person, lots of bars in the bathroom for safety though we are able bodied. The room was clean and bed was comfortable it even had an ironing board. The staff were very friendly and gave help on places to visit . We will visit again."

"I have stayed here several times, but the bedroom had dog hairs all along the bedroom window sil. I wasnt aware animals stay there, thats not a problem but i would expect it to be cleaned thoroughly, especially as i oaid a cleaning fee,VRBO are reviewing this"

"Must be up there in the top 5 of my favourite holidays in my lifetime. Even storm David at the beginning didn’t dampen our enjoyment. The stay and location were just second to none. As a couple with 2 small dogs in tow, Anglesey was absolutely ideal just so dog friendly everywhere. First time visiting Anglesey and Porth Crigyll and it definitely won’t be our last, completely fallen in love with the place and how nice the people treated both ourselves and our dogs."
