"The white cottage is beautiful and larger than I expected (the photo of the living room doesn't do it justice). The location is great with the amazing Clachan Sands nearby.The house has been cared for, there's a 4 poster bed (a very large duvet) and a power shower, what more do a couple need for a week away.A super cottage that I definitely recommend"

"Thoroughly enjoyed our week. Harris is stunning!Good cottage. Well equipped, clean and comfortable, with lots of guide books about the Hebrides. However in this day and age, an electric car charger, or if not a waterproof 13A plug outside for using a standard 2kW charger (as supplied with most electric cars) would be very useful. It's not expensive to supply the electricity for free. We did 400 miles while we were there, around 88kWh, so at standard rates around £25.00 worth. Not much in terms of the rent for the week.Harris is beautiful, even in the fairly awful weather we experienced the week we were there. Wonderful roads with hardly a pothole anywhere: a real treat! Shame the pubs all seem to have the same boring menu (fish n chips and burgers and precious little else).Very little local produce on offer, either at the few shops that exist or in the few pubs. Thousands of sheep but no lamb!Restaurants were closed whenever we wanted to go to one. I'm sure we'll come back to the Hebrides again!"

"The hosts Alex and Katie are a young couple doing a great job running this small boutique hotel! It is is older building however it is well kept up and clean. The rooms are comfortable and provide all necessary amenities. The food in the restaurant is excellent. We would definitely stay here again!"

"This is no ordinary pod. It is beautifully presented with so much thought given to it's furnishing. I didn't expect to find a wine fridge or induction hob, but there they were. The towels are luxurious and the toiletries are classy. There are even pods provided for the Nespresso machine! The fridge is stocked with essentials, and even some non-essential treats. Just as importantly, I was given a proper warm welcome on arrival. I loved my stay here. PS The eggs were delicious."
