"We had an ocean front suite that was immaculate inside, just needs some door seals to prevent the on shore breeze mixing with the foul stench of sargasm, the workers worked hard every day trying to clear it all. We loved relaxing on the jetti on the loungers, shame they didn't have one section to fish off of, no fishing allowed on their jetti, although you could just stand in the sea if need, as its really shallow. Food was excellent, i just wished they wouldn't light the fire pit when the wind was on shore, filled the restaurant with smoke. house reef/snorkel was rather dull, recommend they take their guests somewhere slightly better. "

"My husband and I just returned from Tranquility Bay Resort, and we absolutely loved this place! It truly looks like a picture of a tropical paradise. The accommodation was great. The AC was quiet and worked very well, and our villa was equipped with a mini-fridge, microwave, and coffee maker. We had our meals (breakfast and dinner) at the resort restaurant and found the food to be very good. The people working in the restaurant showed amazing hospitality and treated us like family. My husband enjoyed fishing right in front of our cottage. All fishing gear and bait were provided by the resort. The sargassum didn’t affect us much—several people were cleaning the beach every day, and the ocean current at the resort carries the sargassum away and doesn’t let it accumulate. We went snorkeling daily directly from the resort shore and were lucky to see an eagle ray, a stingray, and a nurse shark. However, some days were better than others, and on some days we didn’t see much. We took two snorkeling excursions from the resort: to Shark Alley/Hol Chan and to Stingray City/Mexico Rocks. Both excursions were unique, and I highly recommend them. Thank you very much to Vincent and Leo, who made our experience so enjoyable."

"I am so glad that we had the opportunity to stay at the Casa Del Mar. It was super clean and larger than expected. We loved opening all the windows to enjoy the beautiful ocean view. Danny and Henry were so friendly and helpful. 10/10! "

"My care takers, Yvonne and Norman is what made my stay at North beach the most memorable! They treat their guest like family and make sure you are safe and fed with their home made authentic Belizean breakfast. Any issue I had they took care of it immediately. They kept me informed of any specials around the island and even invited me out to drinks and wings on my last day there. The retreat itself is so beautiful. the beachfront looks like a photo straight from a postcard. It is Amazing watching the sunset and sunrise! Norman keeps the grounds well kept and clean. If you are looking for a safe and relaxing stay this is the place to be. I cannot wait to come back to Belize and see my good friends again!!!"

"This family is the sweetest family on the entire island. "Chat n Chill" has its name for a reason. Be sure to pet the family doggo!! Shes a cutie. Camping over the water was such a unique experience which takes an adjustment period. The only concern is the road getting there..... its a dirt road thats extremely bumpy for a solid 50 minutes. If you want the liveliness of the Town of San Pedro then this is not the place for you. If you want tranquillity, peace and quiet, and to just be able to "chill" then stay here!! Grab a cocktail, enjoy some nachos and drink out of a coconut while relaxing on the dock :) I'll def be back, especially now that I know more of what to expect from the island itself. "

"This property is beautiful and quiet. Everything was well kept and organized. Multiple lawn chairs a cabana on a private beach. A nice cool pool to relax by on hot days.. The property managers (Norman and Yvonne) were outstanding hosts and beyond helpful. They went out of their way to make sure we were comfortable and fed! They anticipated all of our needs (brought us multiple home cooked meals, ice cold beers and kept our water jugs full). The rooms are clean and well kept. Couldn’t recommend this place more. One thing to note — the wifi is not strong, so be sure to plan ahead if you need to work while here. This actually ended up being a pro in my case. It was great to be mostly disconnected for the week"
