“The property was beautiful and we saw a lovely light show by all the lightning bugs or fireflys that night. The house was very cute but there was no light in the outside bathroom when we went at 4 am the next morning makin it difficult to see,”

“We had such an awesome week! It was everything we hoped it would be! The cabin is a good 8-10 minute drive from the road (the first gate) to the 2nd gate so take that time into consideration when venturing out because GPS doesn't factor it in. Our kids had a ball catching (and releasing) trout, creek walking, and just being lazy in the cabin. We also saw a family of wild turkey on the drive down from the house. Highly recommend and hope to enjoy this cabin again some time.”

“You can definitely feel the love that went into this space. Lisa and Stephen built an amazing treehouse, and the whole property is very special. It's very unique and well crafted, with a lovely view of the mountains through the trees. It's rustic yet also very comfortable and cozy. The clawfoot tub and fire stove make it especially relaxing.”

“If you love peace and quiet, this cabin will be your happy spot. It's out of the way with its private slice of babbling creek, lush ferns, mosses, rocks, and birds. Very well appointed, clean as a whistle, and all wrapped in a wonderful porch. We ate lunch along the way at quaint 'Almost on the Lake' and did a simple pasta dinner and oatmeal breakfast for our one-day stay. If you have a novel or jigsaw puzzle you want to finish, there couldn't be a better spot. I can see bringing my grands back……

“This was our second stay at this cute, comfy and cozy cabin in the woods. The owners go above and beyond in supplying all of the things you might have left home or don’t want to scramble to the store for…. Shampoo, soaps, paper towels, napkins, coffee, spices, etc. It’s so nice to go to a rental that’s not just bare bones. We enjoyed beautiful hiking at Stone Mountain, then grilling and relaxing on the back porch, listening to the quiet of this peaceful place. We’ll be back, I hope!”

“This little blue bungalow was perfect. It was very nicely furnished and had a very comfortable bed. It is in a very quite area, but close to everything. We would definitely recommend this place to others and would stay here again. ”

“Neat cottage in the woods. Owners are on the property ( in another location) and very nice. Especially enjoyed relaxing on the back porch. A creek is on the property and can be heard from the porch. Perfect for the two of us. Enjoyed going to Sparta, never been there before. Close enough to a lot of places for hikes and antique hunting. All around, the most relaxing stay we have had in a long while. We’ll go again.”

“The Fox Ridge Mt Cabin is beautiful and comfortable. Its close proximity to great outdoor adventure, golf and downtown Sparta was perfect for a long weekend trip with the family. We all wished we could have stayed longer and will definitely be coming back. Check in and host communications are superb.”
