“We loved our stay at your spacious little apartment. The room was perfect and the plants and trees there were beautiful. Our host, Arelys, was very knowledgeable and helpful in planning our outings. Her experienced husband took us on a night walk in the cloud forest and taught us a lot about the local flora and fauna. It was very educational and a lot of fun. Pura Vida! ”

“We absolutely loved out stay at Senda Monteverde. The grounds are gorgeous and have access to a beautiful hiking trail just out the back. They have a new pool and hot tubs that made our experience even more relaxing. Their restaurant is delicious. We ended up eating there for multiple meals and were happy with our choices every time. The staff were all extremely helpful and kind. They are very thoughtful and helped us with any bookings we needed. We needed a ride to the airport at 2am and……

“Here’s a sharper complaint: > This property is a family-run B&B, not a 4-star hotel. With only 6 rooms, the experience was far below what was advertised and what the Expedia/Google listings led us to expect. Our room had an extremely loud creaking floor, which made it feel cheap and poorly maintained. It may be acceptable for some travelers, but for the price, it was not worth it and definitely not the upscale stay we were looking for. ”

“Le personnel était super, la bulle était très accueillante, moderne et propre. Le seul hic est l'étanchéité de la bulle. Quelques visiteurs non désirés se sont introduits dans la bulle (araignées et bestioles). Il faut s'y attendre en étant dans la forêt. La vue est cependant magnifique, l'accueil et le service sont très bons et la qualité des installations est très bonne.”

“Breakfast was wonderful. Great location. Amenities and room were all top notch. Also have a very reasonably priced same day laundry service that was a great perk for halfway through our trip. The lower rooms are a little noisy with street noise overnight if you sleep with the window open, but hotel provides earplugs. Overall a lovely stay. ”

L'ambiance est plutôt calme et axé sur de belles habitudes de vie saine. Le café/ restaurant adjacent est vraiment délicieux!! Une fois stationné, tout est accessible à pied. Notez que la ville de santa- Elena est en montagne. ”

They are very accommodating and also helped with booking our tram reservation and provided recommendations for local eateries. We would stay again. Keep I mind if you have difficulty with stairs ask for the bottom floor rooms. Pura vida”
