“Just stayed for 2 nights, the Inn has 12 rooms free fast wifi, and the two rooms we had, family room and standard room, were spacious , clean, and lots of hot water for bath and shower, and we had a virtual check in, we booked pre covid-19, for a great price from Hotels.com, and it was great to see that that the inn hadnt closed down, it was a pity the restaurant and bar were closed, but we undertstand why! The full English breakfasts were cooked to order, and there was a lot of leeway ……

“Lovely pub/restaurant with small accommodation, ideal if out and about all day and to come back and have a good choice of food or carvery! Wash down with a well selected bar of drinks . Staff were ever so helpful and service was fantastic! Highly recommend a stay here as a good base to venture off to different places of cornwall. ”

“Brilliant guesthouse, actually an B&B Nice staff, and the breakfast is wonderful! Room is clean, and perfect for one person! Just a little walk uphill from town center, that might be demanding if you're holding a very heavy suitcase”

“I was hosting at The Hall for Cornwall in Truro which was a 15min drive away. The pub was in a little village called Chacewater and there was a convenient store and fish and chips shop. I was allowed to eat the takeaway in the pub as they had stopped serving food. The room was clear and tidy. I must say the staff and locals were friendly and had a wonderful stay. ”

“The cottage was wonderful - well equipped and comfortable. We loved being able to cook together and the sun deck was fabulous. Parking was a bit tricky but it did not spoil the holiday. Wonderful location and weather - brilliant holiday. Thank you Danny.”

“Nigel was great as a host and made you feel very welcome. Would strongly recommend to anyone staying in this part of Cornwall. Probus is an ideal mid-way point for travellers to this part from visiting places like Eden Project in St. Austell through to the local beaches and onwards to Lands End.”
