「Parking was brilliant and hotel in centre of town will definitely stay there again 」

「Arrived at 2 pm, front desk asked us to come back at 3, eventually checked-in at 3 ish, front desk informed that the Spa closes at 4:30. Rushed to the Spa straight after check-in, and the woman at Spa told us the Spa closes at 3:45 instead because they need time to "clean-up". So we ended up spending 15 mins at the Spa.. Went to the Spa next morning, only to find out the Spa was closed the whole day due to "maintenance"! Complained to the front desk when checked-out, and the lady said "well,...

Clean, well appointed bedroom, friendly, helpful staff. pleasant, if uninspiring breakfasts, well prepared food served in the bar with chef's specials to round out the menu. Parts of the exterior of one wing in need of some cosmetic attention but the rest of the facade of this massive, rambling property not at all bad and the interiors good. Beautiful countryside surroundings as well as attractive golf course. 」
