“The property was in prime location. Just a few minutes to the beach by foot. Literally five minutes. Location was perfect. You can walk just a few blocks and be in the downtown area where you can get food and drinks without any worries about driving. The motel was cute and vintage. Very adorable. Great for a few nights day. If you don’t mind a tiny house living the Royal Palms is the perfect place.”

The location is fantastic, parking is extremely tight, wasn’t very clean, ceiling fans are completely covered in thick dust, super low water pressure in showers, zero communication regarding where and how to check (I only knew because of reviews), and there is no elevator for those who would need it. Overall, our stay was ok. Wouldn’t stay again for the price.”

“The Dunes at Tybee Island is my go-to hotel. The place is old but very well maintained. The beds are very comfortable, and the air conditioning is nice and cold after a long day at the beach. The kitchen is a huge bonus, but restaurants are within walking distance. The pier and beach are a few blocks from your door. The pool is just steps from your room and so clean and refreshing. The staff are so helpful. Joy at the front desk is so nice. Floors get wet and sandy from kids in and out; you need……

“Great location, clean rooms, friendly staff. Would have given it a 5 star but parking was horrible. The spots are to close together. To the point my husband had to get in the passenger seat and crawl over to the driver seat because you could not even walk between our car and the one next to us. The spaces have little to no room to get in and out of the car.”

“Room is old, bathtub is rusted, caulking around toilet was black. The room smells like no one lives in it for a while. While it rained, the water overflow to the door. The only pleasant thing was the staff was really nice and helpful. I don't think I will go back again unless they make some improvement”
