「I believe the part of the hotel we stayed in was not part of the newer renovated rooms, the room we had was comfortable and very clean. The room was small and the bathroom was very tiny, but since it was just my husband and I it was adequate. We only stayed one night. The bed was very comfortable! 「Definitely an older hotel. The coffee bags had dust on them. The sinks in both rooms purchased clogged and we had to wait for them to drain. The shower never got hot. 」

The location is fantastic, parking is extremely tight, wasn’t very clean, ceiling fans are completely covered in thick dust, super low water pressure in showers, zero communication regarding where and how to check (I only knew because of reviews), and there is no elevator for those who would need it. Overall, our stay was ok. Wouldn’t stay again for the price.」

「This was my 2nd time staying here. Was here around the same time the prior year, and the room served its purpose. Comfortable, quiet, clean, and decent shower. It’s also so close to everything, just walking distance. Staff is very friendly and outgoing, that I would stay here again if ever in the area!」

「Staying here is mainly for the location. It needs a huge makeover as far as how old it is with the rusted beams holding up the second and third floors. The dresser and nightstand drawers smell like mildew. The plunger and toilet cleaning brush looked dirty sitting in the bathroom. Staff was helpful, easy check in and parking, not their fault the hotel is old and needs a major facelift. The location is great though and walking distance to the beach and restaurants.」

「It was okay for a 2 night stay. I wouldn’t stay here for longer than 2 nights. Room was musty, floor was sticky, very outdated. Absolutely no parking so if you manage to get parking don’t move. Good water pressure and bed was comfortable though! 」

「We were up all night because the room smelled of paint. The building was undergoing renovations. To combat the smell, we kept all the windows open. Unfortunately, we couldn’t reach customer service because it’s automated, and you never speak to a real person. It was the worst experience. I’ve switched to the Heritage hotel, but I can’t say it’s any better. In fact, it’s probably worse. There’s construction scaffolding, and it’s incredibly loud. I’m disappointed with Marriott.」

「The exhaust vent in the hallway on the fourth floor is extremely noisy! Handheld shower handle was a low quality product. The omlets for breakfast were not very good. Enjoyed the automated brewed coffee in the breakfast area, it was very good. However, the coffee served in the lobby was terrible. The desk clerk said I am not eligible for IHG points since I made my reservation through Expedia.」

「We found the hotel was clean and well maintained but a little dated. Breakfast was not that great so we stopped and got breakfast on the road. It is a great value. A great place to stay and close to the beach and also close to bike rentals.」
