“The property itself needs a little work. There were stains on the ceiling and it could have been a little bit cleaner (there were pee pee drops on the front of the toilet and the floor needed a good vacuuming). We had to check into the B&B from the next door hotel which seemed a little shady inside. The B&B write up claimed the it was located on the beach. It is not. You have to either walk thru an alley way or cut through the neighboring property to access the beach. The reason I rated the B&B……

“My mom, my kids, and I stayed here for four night last week (7/18-7/22) and we would 100% stay again. The hotel is in a central location, with a small walk and easy access to the beach. The staff was great, welcoming, and very informative about how to navigate the island and not get ran over. Our room was a deluxe suite, it was perfect for the four of us. It was clean and well maintained! The only thing negative is the air conditioning units need to be updated, I did have to buy myself a box……

“Although the property is in a great location and good condition. I was disappointed with the afternoon front desk person who was totally disengaged. When I came by to report the room was not completely cleaned (a used washcloth was left, the appliances were not cleaned, and the clock was not working. She was more interested in her meal and television program she was viewing than responding. Shortly afterwards, I ran into another guest upset he was constantly misdirected in his attempts to……

“this location closed to everything even city Savannah.Tybee island is wonderful island to enjoy the sun and ocean beach and seafood.the ppl in island are very nice .hope you enjoy the Tybee and Savannah!”

“Great beach. Many pools. Very spacious bedrooms, living room and full kitchen. Large bathrooms. Lots of activities. Would have liked a restaurant on property for breakfast. Marriott needs to spend a few more bucks on toilet paper (not a joke).”

“Although we had an overall good experience I wanted to mention some things for others to consider. 1. There’s no AC on the hallways, it’s not enclosed so to speak. 2. I could hear the elevator from my room or full conversations in the hall, walls are thin. 3. Breakfast situation was not ideal, also no AC, very crowded, (what I believe to be cross contamination), and did not meet my expectation of other Holiday Inn Express experiences.”
