「Wonderful stay as usual」

「Right after arriving and unpacking, I went for a walk around the area. After a minute, a very polite yellow lab trotted up to my side and gave me a nice tour in exchange for several scritches and pats. 10/10 employee(s). As for the accommodations, it was very comfortable and relaxing without feeling like too much "resort". Will be back!」

「We enjoyed our stay at this Victorian B&B. The bed was comfortable, the room was warm and cozy and we had a delicious breakfast. It is located on a main road and is easy to find. The inn is nicely appointed. We do enjoy the charm of an old historic dwelling and the antique furnishings. Adrienne is friendly and hospitable.」

「I have been around the Lake Wally/Hawley + area for 40yrs (first owning a small summer place on the lake & as a local camp nurse for 20yrs), I always wanted to stay at Settlers--dined there many times--visited the gift shop, even looked into the rooms--finally got the chance--Wonder/Beautiful/Tranquil/Unique!!!」

「The hotel has not been updated, and it would’ve been fine, if it was clean, but it wasn’t. There are stains on the carpet, we found someone else’s sock under the bed, the ceiling tiles in the bathroom were broken and stained, the tub was lined with mold, and the sink looked like it was falling off the wall. As we were checking in, another guest was complaining about it raining in her room (it was raining outside). You also cannot flush the toilet before showering. I will never stay here again.」

「The room we stayed in had mice that ran across our TV. We notified the staff and were told the manager would contact us and we never received a call. The rooms are clearly not maintained well. The property itself is old and falling apart. I do not recommend staying here.」
