Good budget accommodation

Sayong house is a super central base for your stay in Ubud. Pretty much everything can be accessed on foot. Bed is comfortable, aircon worked well. Room is basic, bathroom more 'local' style but the shower was nice and hot. Everything we needed for a really good price.

部屋にもロビーにも冷蔵庫がなく、飲み物などが冷やせなくて困った。ドライヤーも貸してもらえなかった。 部屋の掃除は毎日してくれたが、4日間バスタオルは換えてもらえなかった。朝食の時間やオーダーは前日に自分から毎日お願いしないと対応してもらえず、スタッフから確認してくることはない(待っているだけだと出てこないし、当日言ってももらえない)。 歯ブラシやミネラルウォーター等もないので、本当に素泊まりだけなのバックパッカーにはいいと思う。 階段で登る建物なので、重いスーツケースがあると不便だと思う。正直どうしてこんなに評価が高いのかよく分からなかった。

The staff are wonderful! I love the balcony room and sitting as the sunrises listening to so mamy birds (and roosters of course) in the morning. The location is central and close to the market, Palace and Saraswati water temple. It is located doen a little lane and is very quiet.

The place is so beautiful. The courtyard is one of many many shrines in Bali. It’s quiet and leafy and right in the heart of ubud. I would definitely go there again.

Die Lage ist unschlagbar gut! Kadek, die Eigentümerin ist sehr herzlich und hilfsbereit Das Frühstück ist top für den Preis und wird auf der eigenen Terrasse serviert. Jedes Zimmer hat eine große Terrasse! Das Bad ist für das Preis-Leistungs-Verhältnis vollkommen okay. Das Zimmer ist sehr schön und es gibt einen Wasserkocher sowie Kaffee, Tee und einen Kühlschrank. Auch eine Klimaanlage ist vorhanden. Bei dem Pool fehlen am einen Ende ein paar Fliesen am Grund, aber ansonsten ist alles sehr schön. Auch hier muss man das Preis-Leistungs-Verhältnis beachten und sich überhaupt über einen Pool freuen. Die Unterkunft ist sehr schön und Balinesisch. Vom Balkon aus hat man Blick auf den hauseigenen Tempel und wir konnten auch einer Zeremonie zuschauen. Ich komme auf jeden Fall wieder und kann das Sayong Haus sehr empfehlen. Kadek organisiert auch einen Kochkurs und andere Wir haben über das Hotel auch den Wäscherei Service in Anspruch genommen und waren sehr zufrieden. Ich hatte Kadek Weihnachtsgebäck aus Deutschland mitgebracht und sie hat sich sehr darüber gefreut. Ich komme wieder! Ich empfehle das Sayong Haus zu 100%!

Really good spot if your not too bothered about rooms. Negatives were that it is up an incline alley, which was hard for suitcases. There was also no elevators, worker helped us with bags. But my 70y/o mother inlaw struggled a bit with the stairs. You could request a room on the ground floor which I assume they would be more than happy to accommodate though. Also the shower and the toilet are same room with no walls or separation. (Shower goes directly onto toilet floor, like a wetroom, which is a slipping hazard)

Enjoyable small and cozy rustic bed-and-breakfast with access to a small pool. The staff was wonderful. The price is hard to beat and the location is in walking distance from Ubud Palace. The wood carvings on the doors are amazing and the beds were comfortable. We did not explore the food options, but opted for finding cafés in town.

Har haft et dejligt ophold på 4 nætter. Hotellet ligger super centralt og alligevel gemt godt væk fra Ubuds larm fra biler og scootere. Hotellet ligger få minutters gang fra markedsgaden og div. restauranter. Vi var specielt vilde med de overdækkede terrasser hvor morgenmaden serveres. Personalet var også meget opmærksomme
