  • Situated on Scotland's West Coast, in the village of Ullapool, this stunning retreat for six boasts a wonderful garden and loch views from every window, making it the ultimate peaceful getaway for families and groups of friends. Ullapool, situated on the shores of Loch Broom, serves as a gateway to the Northern Highlands and offers a range of restaurants, cafes, and pubs that showcase local fare. The local area is ideal for walkers, boasting routes in mountain regions, by rocky coasts and along inland footpaths and covering some of the finest summits in the North West Highlands. The Ullapool Hill route provides fantastic views of the town and the Summer Isles. Keen outdoor explorers and wildlife spotters can board a boat trip from Ullapool Harbour, 0.5 miles away, to the Summer Isles, to spot glimpses of dolphins, porpoises and seals. The delightful Lael Forest Garden can be reached within 10 miles.


    Hang up your coat and kick off your walking shoes in the welcoming entrance hallway before heading into the spacious kitchen/diner, which enjoys wonderfully scenic vistas, as well as a sleek, stylish design that’ll inspire you to get creative with your fabulous local produce. Flooded with natural sunlight through the large picture windows that frame breathtaking views, the lounge offers a beautifully peaceful spot to put your feet up in front of the roaring wood burner and simply relax after a day exploring the hills. There’s also a handy utility room on the ground floor. All three bedrooms upstairs, which comprise two king-size and one twin, boast spectacular views across Loch Broom, as well as a wonderfully homely ambience that ensures a peaceful rest before tomorrow’s expedition. There are shower rooms on both levels, with the first-floor shower room enjoying lovely views of the loch and harbour.


    Outside, a wonderfully mature garden awaits; wander through the multiple levels of grass paths and trees until you find the perfect spot to take in the view and look out for local wildlife, including red squirrels. There is outside dining furniture available for use, ideal for enjoying the stunning views with alfresco dining in the summer months. Outside, you’ll also find private parking for three cars.
