“The location is quite convenient and the room is good. Recommended to stay in the flats on ground floor; otherwise, you have to go up via a sharp slope stair with your baggages. The host cannot be contacted at weekends when we had some problems on handling the dishwasher (we only stayed here for one night at weekend). They finally replied us on weekday but it was close to our checkout time. We have already washed all the used dishes ourselves before their reply. ”

My only disappointment was we had to make our own beds but perhaps that is standard in Norway??? “The historic narrow, cobbled roads and shared entry courtyard make this apartment very hard to find but it is worth it. Be sure to get explicit instructions. It was walking distance to everything we wanted to do. In addition to being on Bergen’s coziest street, this is also “Bergen’s coziest apartment” in that it was a very efficient use of space.
