“The Woods Cabin was exactly what it said it was; a teeny tiny, relatively new cabin pretty deep in the scrubby woods of rural NY. It was clean and fully functional, but it was very basic—it was much more than a tent, but the experience was not at all “glamping.” The owner was exceptionally responsive and helpful…no complaints there, or anywhere! As I said, the Woods Cabin is/was exactly what it said it was. Nothing more; nothing less.”

“We stayed in this “cabin” (it’s as big as a proper house!) for four nights during graduation weekend when our daughter graduated from college. We were four adults in total—a couple and two singles. Everything was perfect and there are many thoughtful touches in this property. There are two full bathrooms. One of them has a delightful antique claw footed tub (with spray nozzles to create a shower experience). The main bathroom is gigantic and very shareable with a separate shower and jacuzzi tub……

“Wonderful stay in a lovely little retro cabin that’s updated just enough to be comfortable while imagining you’ve gone back in time. Our host was proactive and very helpful. She made the stay that much better. We visited in late summer. The stargazing was spectacular! And we sat outside around the fire listening to apples fall from the trees watching the wildlife (safely, from a distance!). The surrounding area had lots to explore.”
