The old ironworks is an interesting historic site and the property is conveniently placed to explore the southern lakes and Ulverston. The compact accommodation has everything you need for a short stay and a lovely view of the river on a sunny day.

We had a fabulous week at Riverview Apartment and couldnâ€™t really fault itâ€™s facilities. It was an ideal base for exploring the southern Lake District, which was what we wanted to do. The apartment complex was quiet and easy to find. We would definitely consider re-booking if we ever wanted to visit the are again.

Lovely modern apartment

Overall great space and facilities. Bed was quite small and perhaps sugar and tea bags can be provided. Would stay again if going to the area in the future.
