"Absolutely wonderful stay! The apartment we stayed in was immaculately clean, really well presented with a well equipped kitchen. Bathroom was spotless, the shower was brilliant! Convenient parking opposite and located in the centre. Great place to visit, with lovely shops, bars, cafes and restaurants round the corner! We would recommend to anyone looking to visit Ulverston. "

"The park was nearby, the lakeside setting was fabulous and the staff lovely. The food was good, especially the breakfast was sensational. The dining room/ restaurant was a bit institutional and soulless. It was strange that the bar could have run out of plain crisps, indeed all crisps but the most exotic of flavours by Saturday lunchtime of a busy weekend. Someone with a bit of initiative could have run across to the Aquarium cafe and scooped up their's. But that is a minor detail. The cosy room was of a good size with a bath. ."

"This is the most idyllic place. The interior is a bit dated but it adds to the character of the place. Amazing situation right on the beach and amazing walks. We have, and will continue to come here as it’s a place of tranquility, where you can relax and breath"
