"My husband and I decided to explore some of the other parts of the state we haven't seen yet. We've always talked about a simplistic A frame home when we hit retirement age so took the opportunity to try it out. Beautiful home, quiet space, well stocked with all the basics you'll need during your stay. Unfortunately it rained our entire stay, but the fire pit was very inviting had we had the chance to use it. Few board games to pass the time in the evening. Host communicated well with things we may want to consider packing so we were prepared. Check in was quick and easy. Will definitely be back."

"This is a great property with a wonderful space for large families. We loved the large table that was able to seat our 21 family members. The children also enjoyed the large room upstairs with the toys, foosball, Legos, books and TV. Our family enjoyed the yard to play games and have a camp fire. There were plenty of outside chairs and the picnic tables were great. Our family enjoyed having the property next to the creek where they played, fished, and skipped rocks. Our family was able to hike the nearby trail and brought kayaks to kayak in Pine Creek. The house was well stocked with amenities including a portable crib, 2 refrigerators, and a well stocked kitchen with everything needed to make meals. Everything advertised and more was in the house. We had four generations with us from 1 year old to 90 years old. Everyone was very happy and all wish to return again. Thank you for providing the space for us to have a very memorable time together! We would highly recommend this rental property."

"Excellent Property. Excellent Logistics-very close to PA Grand Canyon and fishing Darling Run. Property was in excellent shape and offered the group the most relaxing and tranquil stay. Joe provided open communication throughout the process and was an excellent host! We have stayed in other lodges but the “Octagon” by far has been one of our best stays!!!"
