We appreciated that the living room has plenty of seating, the dining table is spacious, and there are TV stands and a nice game selection in the living room. We also appreciated the second fridge downstairs and the labeling in the kitchen which made it clear where everything goes.The host sometimes took a while to respond and the check-out guidelines were a bit confusing, but these were minor……

“This is the fourth year we’ve stayed at this property and there’s a reason for coming back each year. The house comfortably sleeps 10 and is always clean. The huge back porch is a common area for everyone to hang out with very comfortable seating. The view is gorgeous looking at the lake. The marina is walking distance from the house. Karen, the owner, has always quickly communicated with me and always makes the check in process a breeze. We’ve even been able to get in a couple hours early. If……

“This place was nice for a quick weekend lake trip. The proximity to the boat dock was clutch. There were window AC units in the living room and master bedroom which was nice, but the bunk room was pretty hot. However, the host had a bunch of box fans in the unit that made it completely fine. It served our needs perfectly for a weekend spent out on the water. ”

The home was spotless, beautifully decorated, and had everything we needed, from a fully stocked kitchen to plenty of cozy spaces to hang out together. “We’ve stayed in many houses in Flat Hollow over the years and always love our time there. Parking is tight for every house so we were not bothered by that. The amount of steps to the water (95) were also expected and fine for us. There were a few individual steps that looked and felt like they were going to break at any moment and would suggest those few boards be replaced. We stayed at Bullwinkle about 15 years ago and I am sad to say the property hasn’t been kept up well. The pros:……
