“We stayed stayed there for three nights and skied at saddleback. Easy ride to the mountain, town and the grocery store. It was a cozy cabin with everything you needed. It had a great porch with a nice of view of the lake. Will be coming back.”

“We had such an incredible time staying at the main cabin. The place was very clean, and the views WOW!! The cabin is surrounded by water in two sides and has a great sandy beach. The water was too low this time of the year to dock the boat, but was able to pull up on the beach easily. Boat launch is just down the road a little over a mile. Easy to drive to Oquossoc or Rangeley from here, but honestly this place has all you need! We are already planning our next weekend trip here. Owners were……

“The house was perfect for so we could all get ready for a wedding nearby. Plenty of room for everyone and the owner even let us check in a few hours early so we could shower before an early rehearsal dinner. Will definitely be looking to stay again over the winter to go skiing!”

“We anticipated a rustic old cabin, but we did not anticipate health and safety issues or inaccurate amenities in the listing. There were no working smoke detectors, even with a wood burning stove in the cabin. There were no CO2 detectors and the furnace filter was neglected and dirty. An outlet exposed without a cover and there was some type of leak in the bathroom that caused the floor to be moist/wet. The listing stated they have WiFi, but the DSL was not operational. We would have been better……

“My partner and I stayed for a snowy weekend away and it was absolutely perfect! The pictures do not do the view nor the coziness of the cabin justice, we could not have asked for a better place to stay to unwind! The place was very clean with plenty of water, kitchen supplies, and wood provided with detailed instructions for use. As we went during the winter months the road up to the cabin can be a bit dicey, but with 4-wheel drive it was definitely manageable. Brenda was a very responsive host……

“The camp is spacious with an exceptional floor plan. The kitchen and dining area is awesome with a well designed and applianced kitchen and a beautiful view of the pond. The bedrooms were ample with modern beds and very good lighting. Two full baths were updated, clean and enjoyable. A separate spacious area for relaxing had abundant and comfortable seating along with a well equiped and porportioned entertainment center making this camp quite unique. Overall, we really liked what this camp had……

“Beautiful cabin, very close to Sunday River and town. Had everything we needed and the hot tub and fireplace were nice after a long day skiing. We booked the private chef for dinner one night and it was an amazing meal- highly recommended!”
