Avoid the trains from 0700-1030 unless you love crowds…next level crowds. Grocery store, McDonalds and other restaurants by the station. AC worked good. Plenty hot water. "For a single guy this was great place to stay just 7 minutes away from the station. There several restaurants around the area to check out and bars to enjoy. But most importantly I never felt worried in the area by myself. Also helps to have google translate for better communication but overall I enjoyed my stay with a wonderful host who showed me everything I needed to know about my stay there. Look forward to staying there again."

"I loved my stay at the Sunshine City Prince Hotel. The location was absolutely perfect—right inside Sunshine City Mall, which made it so easy to grab food, do a little shopping, or just wander without going far. The staff were consistently warm and helpful, and the customer service was excellent throughout my stay. My room was clean and refreshed daily, complete with new robes and slippers, which felt like a nice touch after long days out in Tokyo. Being in Ikebukuro was ideal too—just about a 10-minute walk from the Yamanote Line, making it incredibly convenient to get anywhere in the city. I would absolutely stay here again on a future trip to Tokyo. Highly recommend!"
