The unit was clean, easy to find, and well located near Vail Village. We stayed 10 nights.The host suggests bringing slippers and robes, which makes sense because there is no central heating throughout the unit. Heat is only in the bedroom and bathroom, and even there it barely worked. The living room, kitchen, and dining area rely entirely on the fireplace for warmth. Unfortunately, the fireplace did not work for the first three days of our stay and was unreliable afterward, often shutting off and requiring 20–30 minutes to start.The host initially offered a two-day reimbursement on day two of no heat. However, the heating issues continued for most of our 10-night stay, and no additional compensation was offered despite the ongoing inconvenience. After checkout, I had to follow up multiple times, and the host tried to reduce the reimbursement to one day before finally honoring the original two days. The refund did not include taxes or fees and was processed two weeks after our stay.The sofa is very worn and uncomfortable for relaxing, the cooking pans are old and worn Teflon (I purchased my own to cook), the bathtub was clogged, and checkout instructions are extensive with warnings of extra charges if cleaning takes longer.The location is convenient. The unit looks better in photos than in person. Overall, it wasn’t a bad stay, but due to the heating issues, I would not return.
