“Helpful staff a lovely overnight stay”

“We had a room on the front, no air, room not aired, constant road noise all through the night. Mattress stained, carpet stained. Tables sticky in the restaurant - avoided breakfast.”

“The pub was in an ideal location and although on a busy road, we were not bothered by any traffic noise. The staff seemed rushed off their feet and we waited a while for our food with no offer of being able to order another drink whilst we were waiting. However, this has not put us off returning as the food and accommodation was excellent and the staff were very friendly.”

“Fantastic service from arrival, dinner, and breakfast. Staff were incredibly friendly and helpful. A lovely one nights stay - breaking up the journey from North Wales to Cornwall. Delightful area and close to the motorways. Went for a walk in the local area to stretch our legs along the Strawberry Line (perfect). We had dinner and breakfast in the hotel, the food was delicious and catered for many dietary requirements including vegetarians :). Several other pubs / restaurants near by also. ……

“Rooms were very clean, quiet and comfortable. Food at the pub was the best we had during 2 weeks in Wales. Staff was helpful, friendly, and very accomodating. Highly recommend this place as convient to the Cardiff airport and very comfortable.”
