“Lovely room though we had a problem with a leak from the upstairs shower. It was quickly sorted by the hotel manager. The staff seemed really friendly. The hotels is a short walk to the centre of Harrogate and I would recommend”

“Great apartment and location. We were at the front of the building on a Saturday night, so it was very loud until the early hours with people going to Mcdonalds (directly opposite) after their night out. This was ok for us but maybe not others.”

“Ideal location for us, just a short 10-min walk to the town centre. Our room was spacious and bathroom appeared recently renovated. Staff were very friendly and helpful. As it is a very old building, the floorboards were a bit creaky and woodwork (skirting boards, window frames, architraves) looked tired with their years of layered paint, but we had a comfortable stay. The free parking was a bonus.”

“Very reasonable price but we struggled to find horizontal surfaces on which to place phones, wallets and glasses. A couple of small shelves here and there would be greatly appreciated. Likewise, in the absence of wardrobes, options to hang clothes were limited; a few coat hooks on the walls would be a great improvement and take the pressure off the rack on the door. Really enjoyed the Starbeck location. The regular buses to both Harrogate and Knaresborough were wonderful and the train was……

“Value for money hotel. Fixtures and fittings are tired but the bed and bathroom were clean and comfortable. Great value cooked breakfast for £7. Road a bit noisy. We were able to leave our car behind the building for the day which was great. If stairs are an issue/heavy luggage pays to be aware you might have a few flights of steps to climb depending on your room! Staff very helpful and friendly.”
