The morning breakfast is exceptionally delicious, freshly baked goods, smoked salmon egg Benedict, fresh fruits, parfait...etc. All the staff there are very friendly and helpful. Highly recommended. “Wetherly Inn has been the highlight of my stay on Salt Spring Island. It is a beautifully crafted, family run but very sophisticated luxury boutique hotel. Very secluded and romantic both the room and the gardens/pool etc., so much that the hotel is the best choice for romantic couples I believe. It gave me the chance to rest and take a refuge from the busy daily life as a solo traveler. Renting a car is necessary if you plan to take excursions during your stay and especially if you plan to dine……

“This location is ideal for commuting in and out of Nanaimo and comes with an amazing view. The bathroom is right next to the bedroom upstairs and the bathroom does have a shower. There are also separate thermostats upstairs and even in the bathroom which will help to keep you warm on cooler evenings. Finally, coffee and filters were provided for brewing Java in the morning which was very kind. These small details were noticed and appreciated …”

Hans prepared delicious breakfasts each of our two mornings, over which we had fun and interesting conversation. After breakfast check out the charming pond-side village created by Hans. As an extra convenience, the couple was kind enough to let us charge our EV in the carport. ”
