「Stunning property in a newly restored old house. Beautiful, spacious and well-appointed room. The common areas were comfortable and there was a lovely balcony. The breakfast which was beautifully served on the balcony was beyond compare. Local, fresh, and delicious Cretan treats. Archanes is close to Heraklion and the palace of Knossos and had plenty of dining options. We were in Greece for three weeks and our night at Carpe Diem was probably our best stay. Can’t recommend highly enough. 」

「The property we stayed in was new and has been built to a very high standard. All the rooms have a shower and seperate toilet. A sink is located in each room next to the door. The living areas are bright and clean with floor to ceiling windows/doors, open plan kitchen diner with lots of space with modern appliances. 「This is the first five star review I've ever left for a hotel in Crete. The Lady who liked after us during the stay was amazingly kind, helpful and generous. The property is gorgeous and the apartments are incredibly well furnished & arranged. The pictures do not do them justice. The beach is literally across the road and the town square is a 4 minute walk. Many good restaurants just steps away. This should be on the top of everyone's list of places to stay when visiting Kalamaki.」

「Von Anfang bis Ende absolut traumhaft. Wir haben ganz spontan 1 Woche in diesem Hotel gebucht und es war einfach perfekt. Ideal zum runterkommen, Transfer vom/zum Flughafen hat super funktioniert. Das Hotel hat fussläufig einen Strand (ohne Liegen, Service o.Ä), Man kommt aber innerhalb von paar Gehminuten (oder man wählt den Hoteltransfer) an den gemachten Strandabschnitt.
