"We enjoyed our stay. The hut is well equipped and had the weather been warmer we could have benifitted from the outside space. We felt they needed to think about slightly better storage and the couch/ bunk beds were probably six inches too high for comfort. The fold away table was also poor although it served a purpose. The hut had a slightly tired feel and would benefit from some upgrading - television for example."

"We stayed at the hut for four nights and found it beautifully designed, and to our surprise quite spacious compared to huts we've stayed in before. There is plenty of space for two people to sit around and relax and a very adequate kitchen (we only used the microwave, but there is a double hob and cooking utensils provided). The bed is 'cabin style' and very comfortable, with some storage space at one end which is quite convenient so your bits and bobs don't fill up the dining/kitchen area. The...

"We had a wonderful Christmas in the charming Shepherds hut whilst visiting family near by. We brought our slow cooker with us and managed to make make a Christmas dinner in the well equipped kitchen. Toasting marshmallows on Christmas Eve was a highlight!"

Lorna and Neil are perfect hosts giving privacy to enjoy the space also very knowledgeable of local history and great recommendations for places to see and local produce. "On arrival we found milk in the fridge, and biscuits on the table which was a nice touch. There was emergency contact details on the fridge, and wifi details. Well appointed property, close to Shanklin Chine, beach, amusements, restaurants, chippy and crazy golf. The property was very clean, (and this is from someone who is OCD about cleanliness), and well equipped. If I was to suggest one improvement, it would be useful to have a top cupboard in the kitchen for food storage. The only downside...

"It really is a very cosy and inviting yurt, with wonderfully eclectic decor. The owner made me feel very welcome, and it was fun to sit on the boardwalk in front of the yurt and listen to curlews. It is a short walk into the village for provisions, and there is a bus stop just a few metres' walk away. The road behind the yurt is a little busy in 'rush hour', but the position makes up for it. I haven't been to the island since I was a moody adolescent. It's lovely, full of variety."

"Stayed here with 16 members of the family, aged 10 months to over 70. Games room was perfect, very well stocked kitchen , bedrooms were good, in general the property needs a hug, tired in places. The beaches are accessible by only the sure footed, and we’re not suitable to sit on as there was evidence of rock falls.having said that the coastal walks were perfect"

"The Granary is quirky and very comfortable, equipped with everything you need for a self catering stay. The garden is just wonderful and the real highlight of our stay. Rebecca is a five star host and we can’t recommend her property highly enough. With a car or bicycles, it’s in an ideal location for exploring the island. Without, the buses are frequent, convenient and inexpensive."
