However there was someone else’s facecloth in the bathroom when we arrived. "The hotel was ok and fine for 1 night, we wouldn’t have wanted to stay longer. It was a bit grubby in places and the bathrooms would have benefited from some mould spray. We had a dreadful nights sleep, the mattress was so thin, there were no spare pillows. Also the room was incredibly hot and as we were on the ground floor we couldn’t leave the patio doors open, for safety, and there were no windows to open. "Our very short, 2-night stay was made simple by walking access to both the ski lift and all the amenities in town. In site ski locker was a bonus! We were lucky to be there on a Thursday (market day) and unlucky that the weather was not ideal for skiing. Communication with our host was clear and timely. Check in and check out were smooth. Would highly recommend and return for a longer stay!"

"Location stupenda casa molto bella. L accesso non è facile (auto a circa 200 metri e accesso in strada dissestata in forte salita). Per portare i bagagli necessario aiuto di un pickup, garantito al checkin ma non fornito al checkout, e questo è un problema. Unica nota sulla casa: il piano seminterrato, fornito di sei posti letto e un bagno, è un vero e proprio scantinato, con inevitabile umidità e la presenza di tanti ragni. Davvero difficile da abitare. Confortevole invece il piano superiore....

"We had a fantastic week staying in Giles and Christiane’s chalet just below Les Arcs. The chalet is very well equipped for 8 people with spacious bedrooms, bathrooms and a very nice communal kitchen, dining area and lounge area. The utility room downstairs with washing machine and dryer, plus heated boot rack was an absolute bonus enabling us to have warm and dry boots each day. Communication with Giles and Christiane was very easy and clear and it was nice to meet them on arrival."

"We booked our stay from 6-12 April 2017. Please bear in mind that there are no shops near the chalet. The nearest is in Seez or Saint Bourg Maurice which is a good 20 minute drive from the chalet. The owner told us that the nearest lift is 200 metres away but it is 1km and you cannot walk from the chalet to the lift, you have to drive. Also at that time of year and maybe because it hasn't been the best season, you could go up to Les Arcs 2000 via three slow chair lifts which took 30 mins but it...
