“Wir haben den Aufenthalt in Sacrofano bei Gherardo wirklich sehr genossen. Sofort vom ersten Augenblick an fühlten wir uns heimisch und sehr gut aufgenommen. Dazu trug im Wesentlichen die freundliche, unkomplizierte und aufgeschlossene Art des Vermieters bei. Gherardo hat uns auch in dieser Woche mit zahlreichen Informationen was Zugverbindungen, Wanderrouten und Ausflugsziele in der Umgebung von Sacrofano versorgt. Die Wohnung entsprach voll und ganz unseren Erwartungen, war sauber und sehr gut……

Malgré le malentendu sur le nombre de personnes, Francesca a été très compréhensive et à trouver des solutions pour préparer les chambres qui n'avaient pas été faites. Le jardin est incroyable, bien entretenu et avec pleins de variétés de plantes et d'arbres. La piscine à une bonne taille et les équipements sont en suffisance. Einziger Minuspunkt: Wir wollten die Villa für 24 Personen buchen und das hat dann bedeutet, dass zum Preis hier auf FeWo Direkt noch einmal 700€ dazu kamen. Die Küche (bestens ausgestattet) war ein häufiger Treffpunkt.Der grosse Pool war sehr gepflegt, wir verbrachte dort viele Stunden.Das Haus ist in bestem Zustand mit täglich gepflegte Aussenanlagen von Francesco. “Meravigliosa struttura immersa nel verde. Arredamento curato nei minimi particolari e solidale con l´atmosfera d´altri tempi che si respira passeggiando anche nei rigogliosi giardini. La residenza che viene affittata e´adiacente alla casa patronale (non abitata) e al casale in cui vive la famiglia dei custodi (estremamente gentili ma che tuttavia non garantiscono di essere gli unici occupanti della struttura durante il soggiorno, soprattutto in giardino) La struttura merita sicuramente una……

“As others have said, even more lovely than photos. We were 8 couples aged 23-77 for a week with room for more. A real advantage is the en suite bathroom situation, albeit some bathrooms and showers roomier than others. Highlight is outdoor dining patio where we took all meals given the mild September weather. Chef cooked two yummy dinners for us. Also glad we ordered villa owner’s olive oil and red wine. Short drive to major Umbrian sights. However, we recommend you go for lunch in nearby……

“My husband and I were married at Villa Clodia with 19 guests. The property manager arranged our wedding day perfectly - from the decor, the food, to the amazing staff. All of our guests say that it was one of the best weddings, and I have to agree. Our group stayed for three days in 11 bedrooms, nobody had complaints. “We were a 3 generation family of 10. Overall very good, a lovely pool and a games room with table tennis and table football. Rome was reached by train from Terni. ( but check ticket prices as it varies enormously depending on the train) Lake Bolsena, Orvieto, Todi, Spoleto, Bagnoregio and Cascade del Marmore are all easily reached by car. Village pizzeria is excellent. We drove from Rome Fiumicino Airport, very easy using Autostrada. My family all enjoyed the soft river rafting near Marmore.……

“We were looking for an area off the normal tourist track and definitely found it here in Moricone. Beautiful country side, my only negative was there was a dreadful smell coming from the laundry, some form of sewer problem says the plumber in our group other than that the beds were comfortable, kitchen well stocked if small but a lovely quiet location”

“Guido was very gracious assisting us whenever we had questions. Claudia, who met us at the square was very helpful & guided us to the property. Both were very responsive to any of our needs. A small car is a must for narrow roads in hilltop towns. The town was close by with a short up hill walk. I felt I was back in time, learning to just enjoy the simpleness and beauty of it all! “The property is very clean, warm and welcoming. The house is well set up. Beds are comfortable, and kitchen well stocked. The villa design and layout is truly an architectural splendor. The olive tree grove, bamboo forest and views of the countryside are amazing. Villa Gilda is in a very nice and quiet neighborhood and Anna (host) was incredibly accommodating and went above and beyond to make our stay comfortable. “Abbiamo passato il capodanno 2023 in questa splendida casa di campagna in4 adulti e 2 cagnoline. La casa è spaziosa, ben organizzata e completa di ogni confort. Ed il posto è incantevole: circondata da ulivi e verde. Bellissimo il porticato. Abbiamo apprezzato il camino (con legna a disposizione) che ha reso davvero piacevoli le nostre serate. Per i cani c'è un ampio giardino recintato. La cucina è fornita davvero di tutto. Gentilissimi i proprietari che ci hanno accolto e fatto trovare in casa……
