「The owner and his wife were lovely, friendly, and accommodating hosts. The room was renovated and extremely clean. The bed was very comfortable, and the refrigerator was larger than normal, with a separate freezer section. The property was clean, quiet, and well kept. Parking was very convenient, right behind the building. The price is more than reasonable, and they deserve the high rating they have. I would stay there again in a heartbeat and highly recommend The Bay Inn!!」

「Very smooth process with checking in, especially with having a service animal! Staff on each shift were all very friendly, polite, & helpful whenever we needed anything! That says a lot, as I am a local here, and needed a place to stay due to the storm. Definitely recommend for all SA, ESA, & regular pet owners! 」

「Close to the ocean that’s a good thing about this hotel. But the room was so dirty. They didn’t even Change the sheets and I found a dirty face cloth on top of the shower curtain just gross.」

「Closest hotel to the Amtrak bus stop connection, about two blocks away. Rented a car to get around Virginia Beach and Norfolk. Stayed in mid January when not much was happening and freezing. Hotel itself met my basic needs, clean, staff were friendly and helpful.」
