Remember the anticipation and excitement of an upcoming family vacation? Step back to a dreamier time, when vacation meant loading the family and all the gear in to the station wagon and heading out for great adventures. You will love the nostalgia at the Seawoods Dream where comfort and fun are top priorities.

Located on a pristine beach that stretches for miles, you will find plenty to explore. The beach access is a short walk away. On the beach, walk north toward the mouth of the Alsea River and hunt for the perfect piece of driftwood. Head south on the sand and you can walk for miles (eight to be exact)! Not ready to turn around? Continue up the steps and onto the famed 804 walking trail which takes you along the rocky basalt tide pools and into the town of Yachats where you can enjoy a great meal and an ocean view. Come home and enjoy a long soak in the sunken hot tub nestled among the shore pines. You will find a well appointed kitchen in an open floor plan that is sunny and fun. Down the hall are 3 bedrooms and 2 baths and a peak in to the garage will surprise you because it's a bonus space to play and enjoy.

Sleeps up to 6 - 3 Bedrooms, 2 King (one King can be split into 2 Twin beds with 72 hour advance notice), 1 Queen and 1 Sleeper Sofa; 2 Bath.
Vehicles: Licensed for 4 (strictly enforced)
Winter: 2 night minimum; Standard & Holidays: 3-4 night minimum.
*Each home is individually owned. Amenities and furnishings are subject to change at any time. Please contact our office with any questions.

Age Requirement: The primary registered guest must be at least 26 years of age. The majority of guests must be over 25, or children under adult supervision.

This home does not allow cat guests or other non-human, non-canine visitors. Dogs are welcome at this home but must be registered in advance and paid prior to arrival. This home has a 3-dog maximum occupancy! Pet Guests: One time $35+tax fee per dog. Pet fees are not included in the original reservation.

A great stay! Just a few things to be aware of. Dryer takes 2 hours to dry even on highest setting. The stove couldn't get water to a full boil. Path down to beach not easily accessible especially for elderly and young kids. (Staircase is broken off halfway down and you have to mountain goat down large rocks to get to the beach) I know it's not the property owners responsibility but the pictures were misleading. Also the path is not directly from the property but a few blocks away. Lack of tvs, only 1 of the 3 rooms have one (the master bedroom doesn't have a tv). Has no glass recycling so must take all bottles with you when you leave. Besides that the place is awesome. The beds are super comfy, hot tub is nice and hot and clean. Amazing living/ dining area. Check in was a breeze. They even had a jar of dog treats and doggy poo bags setup at the entrance. Tons of hot water. Plenty of towels, soaps, shampoo, conditioner. Lovely place. It really is great! Just be aware of what was previously said.

A Beautiful Place to Stay

A vaulted ceiling, open layout for the living room/dining/kitchen, with nice windows giving an ocean view. Large bedrooms with comfortable beds. A hot tub on the front porch. A quiet neighborhood. We loved our stay, and will definitely stay at this house again.

Mostly as advertised

The area is wonderful and the house is very lovely. The beds were all super comfy and we had a nice (not phenomenal) view of the ocean. As much as I wanted to give this a five star review, I do have to say there are some things that took away from our stay. - The house only had two wine glasses total, we didn’t think wine glasses were something we would need to bring- The hot tub is not as private as you’d be led to think, the neighbors have a spectacular view of you and your friends/family soaking in it (and no view of the ocean from it) - The TVs, while nice that they include cable channels, do not have any app connectivity that we found. So any streaming service you wanted to use will be only usable on your personal devices, unless you bring a laptop and HDMI cord- All of that I could get around and maybe leave a four or even five star review still, however when “beach access” is touted you would expect easy access. However, the directions given to us lead us to a path where the stairs have clearly been gone for years (a local confirmed this), making the beach inaccessible from that route. A local was kind enough to show us another route to the beach, but if we didn’t have that as a surprise save of the day, we might not have found a path ourselves. Please know the area and update your guide maps accordingly, SweetHomes! Unfortunately. I left this rental feeling like it was not worth the money we spent on it and we will not be returning in the future.

Our overall stay was great. I found the post to be a little misleading. The hot is on the front deck. You can’t see much of the ocean. If they could cut the hedge down about 6” you would be able to see out the sliding glass door better. There are no rugs at the doors. To clean your feet off. Having said all of that we had a fun stay.

Wonderful beach getaway

My family of four and I loved our long weekend at this beach house. The interior of the home was well stocked with towels, linens, kitchen utensils. The beds were very comfortable. Appliances and fixtures were all very to use. The hot tub was very clean and the water was hot when we arrived. The host provided a map of the walking path to the beach which came in handy. It takes about 5 minutes to walk and there's no need to cross any busy streets. I would definitely consider staying here again.

Oregon Love

We were very impressed by the cleanliness of the property, as well as how nicely appointed it is. The hot tub was clean and lovely for relaxing, and you can hear the ocean so well. The beds were comfortable, the bathrooms clean and with good functioning equipment. The customer service was quick and efficient for a need we brought to their attention upon arrival, even after hours. The best part was how light and bright it is - the west facing windows and skylights are perfect. Waldport is one of our favorite Oregon coastal towns, and this house helped make our return to Waldport a wonderful experience.

Super cool River into beach access

My kids loved playing with the blocks and scooter in the closet of one of the bedrooms. The beach access was an adventure to find, but that was also fun for my kids. Definitely, do not go to the beach access if you are handicap. There are skinny boards and steps that you need to balance on to get there. The beach in low tide was so cool! The river was meeting the ocean and made a lot of sand islands to play on.

Overall, Great Stay

Overall had a great stay. We were a little bummed to get the call that the hot tub might not be working for our trip, but the property manager was able to get maintenance to the house and it was fixed before our arrival - delightful surprise to arrive to. Easy check in process. The only suggestion I would have is to include driving directions (including distances) once you leave the highway AND how to get to the beach access - we had to wonder our way to the access and I'm not entirely sure the path we were on was trespassing or not. :-/ (totally on us, not the property owner). Overall, great stay!

Such a nice home. We felt the kitchen was well stocked. Loved the walk to the beach. It is a bit of a trek if someone was not able bodied but a leisurely stroll for us. The beach views were great and it was just a cozy house with comfortable beds!

Almost perfect stay!

Great location! Loved the house! Worked well for us and our pups! So homey and cozy feeling inside, loved the fire place in the evenings! Hot tub was phenomenal morning and night! Absolutely loved the natural lighting in the second bathroom during the day! Beware the first night we did see a bear on the property coming home around 8 and over on neighboring properties afterwards. Keep dogs on watch while outside at night! Now for the down falls.. just an FYI the shrubs will be blocking a good portion of the view from the back deck and from what we now understand are not on the property therefore can’t be trimmed down, the back deck is smaller then originally thought and there is no back yard. The path to get down to the water is tricky to find at first but with the help of the map on the tablet provided and the help of google earth it was an easy find. The windowsills were dirty, trash was half full upon arrival (not a huge deal, just more annoying), a window in the master bedroom was missing a handle and was unable to open, could use some new beds, slightly uncomfortable, the shower heads are not meant for anyone over 5’6.
