"2-star experience at a 5-star price.
Aged furniture, dated and ill-equipped kitchenette, bedside lamp missing a lightbulb, no shampoo / conditioner…
On a positive note…check-in was seamless and the room was clean!

"We stayed at this holiday house recently, and it comfortably accommodated our whole group. The location is fantastic if you're coming purely for the beach; it's surrounded by stunning beaches and a peaceful lake, which was perfect for the kids to explore and play safely. The house is nestled in nature, and we were lucky to spot kookaburras, echidnas, kangaroos, bandicoots, and other wildlife right from the property, a real treat for nature lovers. There’s a local deli nearby that opens from 7am to 2pm, but after that, there’s not much to do socially in the immediate area. If you're looking for shops or cafes, Milton is about 26 minutes away and worth the drive. That said, there were a few downsides. The house didn’t provide paper towels and only had one kitchen towel, which made things a bit tricky. The cutlery and plates were dirty, so we had to run everything through the dishwasher before use. It was also a bit dusty inside, and the backyard and BBQ area were quite dirty, which meant we didn’t feel comfortable sitting outside or using the BBQ.Overall, it’s a great spot for a quiet, nature-filled beach escape, especially with kids, but it could benefit from a bit more attention to cleanliness and basic amenities."
"The house was clean and kitchen well equipped. Beds comfy. There was no linen or towels provided and only toilet paper in the main toilet (no spare). A short walk to the creek and beach. There was a dart board and a few basic games. The DVD selection was extensive. A quiet location with lots of kangaroos and bird life. Highly recommend."
"So so good. We've stayed a number of times at Cooinda at Berrara, every time is great. Very thankful for this place and opportunity to stay there at Cooinda."
