“Good location for accessing hiking, shopping & recreation nearby. Cabin is nicely removed from the road for a secluded feeling & the small stream & hills are bonuses. It gets very dark at night which allows for great stargazing. The cabin itself is homey & comfortable overall, although one night dipped into the low 20s & it seemed like the heating system struggled to keep up. “We booked this place for a quiet Christmas getaway, and could not have been happier. The host prepared the house with lovely Christmas decorations and had everything clean and ready for us. Listening to rippling water from river was so relaxing. Loved the fire pits. Game room was amazing, spent many hours there. Close enough to downtown West Jefferson for shopping and restaurants but far away to feel serene. This place is amazing and would definitely rent again!”
