“This is a great property with a wonderful space for large families. We loved the large table that was able to seat our 21 family members. The children also enjoyed the large room upstairs with the toys, foosball, Legos, books and TV. Our family enjoyed the yard to play games and have a camp fire. There were plenty of outside chairs and the picnic tables were great. Our family enjoyed having the property next to the creek where they played, fished, and skipped rocks. “This house is fantastic. It is perfect for a family reunion. We had only adults on this trip but it would be well suited for children too. There is plenty to do for adults and children alike - home theater, game room with pool table and air hockey, indoor pool, lots of outside spaces. There were even games to play. The house is large and well laid out. Fully stocked kitchen and plenty of seating at the dining area. Two family rooms, two laundry rooms. Beds are comfortable and bathrooms are……

“We've stayed at the Creek House two years in a row with large groups of friends for a fall bike trip weekend on the Pine Creek Rail Trail. We love the location and setting of this property and for the number of people you can fit in this place, it's a great deal. Our one critique is the bathroom situation. If you have 10 plus people, it's difficult sharing the two bath/shower facilities... especially the one by the garage with a window and no curtains.”

“Overall the house was very clean. Location was great with restaurants nearby. I did have a minor issue with trash disposal, but when I contacted the property manager she was quick to respond! Only nitpick is that the listing shows a table and chairs on the deck but those aren't at the house. There was a table in the mudroom (we didn't use it). We brought our own chairs to sit outside so it didn't effect our stay at all- just wanted to note for future guests. Overall, would recommend!”

“Finding the property was easy using Waze. Check in info was given with plenty of advance notice, and the information was easily understood. One of the 2 outside stairs to the main entrance was a bit higher than standard with no handrail, making it a bit of a challenge for my mother of 88 years, but the kitchen entrance was much easier. The barbecue area in the back was stellar, and despite the less than perfect weather, the roof overhead made the area a pleasure to use. The house is very clean……

“Beautiful property and cabin. Very cozy for an early Christmas getaway. Clean and clear communication with MVR. I only wish we could have used the wood stove! That would have added a nice warm bit of cheer to our otherwise wonderful stay.”

“This was our first rental at Otter Lodge. The newly renovated house was very nice, spacious and well appointed. The streamside location was idyllic. The hosts were responsive in answering our questions. A very enjoyable stay.”

“Nice size property with plenty of room to spread out. One group was in the bigger sitting area watching tv while another group was in the smaller sitting are watching a different program. Nice size bedrooms and 2 shower areas were a plus.”

“Had a wonderful time. Easy access to Pine creek trail, state park overlooks, and Wellsboro. Enjoyed watching the stars while using the campfire. The sky was amazing! There is a little bit of truck noise from Rt 6 but we live in a busy area so it didn't bother us at all. Would stay here again for sure.”

“About 10 minutes oitside of Wellsboro. Residential road, not touristy at all. Far enough away that you dont have the hustle and bustle of town, but close enough to run to town to get supplies or an ice cream and easily get to all 3 parks. Plenty of trees for privacy. Great little place to stay.”

“My husband and I, my college friends and their kids decided to get together for a weekend to go to the Pennsylvania Grand Canyon and Cherry Springs. I’m so glad we found this property, it was amazing and had all kinds of walking trails. The kids took the canoe out on the pond and my husband caught a bunch of fish. We walked along the creek and the trails and found blooming wildflowers, lots of birds and heard quite a few owls. The set up of the three stories of this log cabin was great for……

“Owner was easy to get in contact with. Kitchen was well stocked. They even had pasta, bagels, cream cheese, juice and a basket of snacks! Plenty of towels and all beds had linens and pillows. Plenty of space for our two families and the kids loved the games! We were visiting our oldest who attends Lock Haven University and could walk to her dorm. Will definitely stay again when visiting her.”
