There should be a non-slip mat in the bathtub since that is where the shower is. You could hear the neighbours pretty good and the water heater but with earplugs all good!!”

Inside the home, although it’s quite small, it was sufficient for one person and very clean, which I greatly appreciated. “The flat was very centrally located in a vibrant street with lots of shops and restaurants. The Brunswick centre across the road has a Waitrose so shopping is convenient. As a basement it's a little on the dark side and there were a couple of minor irritations such as no bin bags provided and no dishtowel for drying dishes, plus in one bedroom the double bed was pressed against the wall so only one person in a couple can……

“For the first welcome in walk we were greeted by a filthy carpet and funky smell. The carpet was stained throughout the house.The kitchen is old, plastic covers, peeling off cabinets and steel wool holding the washing machine in place. A few tea/coffee cups and glasses but other than that, it’s slim pickings. One tea towel for a week stay? One paper towel, and a few rolls of toilet paper. We had to go out and buy all.
