“We loved our weekend break at The Globe in Wells next the Sea. Despite the chilly weather we made the most of exploring Wells, walking down to the lifeboat station then along the beach to Holkham Hall for lunch and back. Beautiful place to visit if you like wildlife too, would definitely recommend and the food at The Globe is excellent.”

“Please note there is a very steep narrow staircase for anyone staying on the first floor or higher. Other than that it is a perfectly positioned place to stay. Car parking is opposite and suggest you pay for the entire time you are staying as if you book for a part day expecting it to rollover to the next, a day finishes at midnight and you don’t want to be out at midnight topping up the meter! Friendly and helpful owner. Dog friendly. Very comfortable. Good restaurant walking distance just up……

“The hotel is centrally located with access to all the amenities within walking distance. What sets it apart is the unexpected gardens at the back of the property where the accommodation is. A really pretty oasis that is carefully maintained. The accommodation itself is beautifully furnished and a lot of thought and detail has gone in to the added extras that make your stay extra special. Also need to mention the staff who go out of their way to make sure you have everything you need. Excellent……

“We stayed in the Churnery room for 2 nights on a B&b basis. Good size room with has been refurbished to modern standards. Everything supplied that is needed for a short stay - smart TV, fridge, tea/coffee making, hairdryer, bottled water, etc. Continental breakfast is excellent, wide choice including facilities to freshly cook your own boiled and scambled eggs. Both Nigel and Carol were welcoming, friendly and helpful. Short stroll to south beach is a must at sunset to see the sun disappear into……

“Really cosy property and everything you needed. Fantastic location, supermarkets, the wonderful Hunstanton high street a few minutes walk away. Fantastic walks along the beach, to the dunes as well as the woods in land. Very nice garden which I am sure is great in summer. A great place for a relaxing break.”
