"This was the first time in a location with no staff to interact with. The room was clean and the other quests at the location were very friendly. The bed in our room was to die for, so comfortable. It's like a B&B but it's just a B, your have to make your own breakfast. "

"What a wonderful spot the Shaker Bear Cottage is!! We were in New London for a Colby Sawyer college reunion, and this was the most perfect place to stay. Our hosts Tom and Kem are wonderful, and their cottage is so lovely—-spotless, well appointed with anything we would need (kitchen, bathrooms) and was tradition New England decor. We loved our visit!!!"

"Very clean and easy to “self check in”. It is a nice setting too. We felt safe. The bed, for me was very hard and the pillows were more like morning pancakes. The pillows really need to be replaced. I did not sleep well. Over all a nice place. "

"You need carpeting upstairs- the amount of stomping around at 530am over the weekend was frustrating. I also understand not serving food right now- however to expect guests to not eat in the comfort of their own rooms and expecting them to eat out in a common area but not serving food is a little hypocritical to be honest. The facility was nice, i liked being able to come and go as i pleased. "
