“What a wonderful spot the Shaker Bear Cottage is!! We were in New London for a Colby Sawyer college reunion, and this was the most perfect place to stay. Our hosts Tom and Kem are wonderful, and their cottage is so lovely—-spotless, well appointed with anything we would need (kitchen, bathrooms) and was tradition New England decor. We loved our visit!!!”

“I loved the place. It was extremely quiet and peaceful. We decided to go away for a night for our 23rd anniversary and brought our young teen children with us. They had zero complaints as well.”

“Pros: - Great location for enjoying Mt Sunapee area - The common areas were great - Very easy and smooth check-in and check-out. - Great value for the price (Possible) Cons: - This wasn't an issue for me, but there is no staff on location. I didn't need anyone at all, but just in case you want to interact with a human when you check in or check out, you won't find that.”

“Very convenient to stay close to family. The beds were comfortable. The AC kept turning off and was glitchy. We reached out to the property manager and let her know we got it figured out, however we never heard from her.”

“You need carpeting upstairs- the amount of stomping around at 530am over the weekend was frustrating. I also understand not serving food right now- however to expect guests to not eat in the comfort of their own rooms and expecting them to eat out in a common area but not serving food is a little hypocritical to be honest. The facility was nice, i liked being able to come and go as i pleased. ”

“Very clean and easy to “self check in”. It is a nice setting too. We felt safe. The bed, for me was very hard and the pillows were more like morning pancakes. The pillows really need to be replaced. I did not sleep well. Over all a nice place. ”

“The place was nice and clean. It is far from places to eat. B&B’s just aren’t what they use to be. No breakfast’s served and no personal contact.”

“Pros: --Safe --Quiet --Clean --Comfortable --Historic Cons: --was without any water for bathing for ~24 hours --I asked for consideration due to the lack of water, and I received no response to that request and was still charged full price”

“Very tasteful modernization of an old farmhouse - if you enjoy old houses, this house is just fun. Very quiet, peaceful location, but convenient to downtown Concord. Great communication with Lynn - thanks!”

“We had a lovely stay at the Big Red cottage. The home is modern and beautifully furnished and in a serene wooded setting. Everything went very smoothly and we very much enjoyed relaxing both inside and out on a Sunapee ski weekend. I highly recommend the home and hope to stay there again soon.”

“Nicole and Jason were incredible hosts. They were quick to respond, and were extremely helpful. The house was extremely clean, and we loved the open concept. One of our family members is in a wheelchair, and was able to get around the house with ease. The house was fully equipped with towels, blankets, bedding, dishes, and more. Overall, an exceptional experience.”
