"Staff was nice and the room was clean. My only issue was being stuck in the elevator and not knowing how long it would take. The fire department had to get us out, it would have been nice to know we were waiting on the fire department. Even though it was only 20 to 30 minutes, it felt like forever."

"The room and property was very good but the staff were not helpful. On our very first night, my husband attempted to get in the shower and the bottom was so slippery with no mat that he fell into the wall, cut himself in serval places on his arm, and the wall had significant damage to the point we could not take a shower. We immediately informed the front desk and were told that maintenance would come to the room the following day. We then inquired about a first aid kit and were told the front desk had a few items. We were given a bandage, antiseptic, and medical tape that had not tape left inside. The staff did not seem concerned that my husband sustained injuries and we were not offered another room nor our room to be comped for our inconvenience. Maintenance did come to the room the following day and we were first told the wall could not be fixed and they had no solutions as they could not move us to another room. My husband came up with the solution to place plastic over the wall so we could take showers. This was done and that is the way the wall remained during our entire stay. No one followed up on this incident and no contact was made during the rest of our stay. The treatment for this situation was poor at best."

"I arrived at 2:30. I was told they were working on my room and it would be ready in a few minutes. Hour later it still wasn't ready so I went to the event I was there for. Came back at 1:00 a.m., not only was the room still not ready the door was wide open nothing on the mattresses no bedding no sheets no anything. Absolutely ridiculous. I highly unrecommend"

"We booked 2 rooms for nearby Amherst College graduation. The hotel worked out perfectly (although we didn't get to try out the famous dining halls as they were already closed for the year), staff were always nice, the onsite parking at $6 was convenient and we were constantly amazed at how fast the elevators were. The only dings we had were the temperature control in the room was wonky - it got really hot and the a/c wouldn't come on because we were told the temp OUTSIDE was too cold? As we were on the 7th floor, they would not let us open the swing window (there's no safety mechanism). They brought up a fan but seems to be a known problem they might want to sort out. Also the continental breakfast was pretty slim - just waffles and some fruit. Otherwise, we really enjoyed our stay."

"Great location close to everything. The staff was very helpful. The breakfast was perfect in every way. The room was also perfect… nice little kitchen… No dishes or silverware but I sink and refrigerator microwave , coffee pot so just enough. Really comfortable bed!"

"The rooms are not at all fancy, but perfect for a family if you want to get away for a few nights. We went with my 3, 4, and 7-year-olds and spent two nights playing in the pool, mini-golfing, and hitting the arcade once or twice. Again, not very high-end, but if you’re with children who love a pool and easy activities, it’s a good choice."
