“What a lovely home in a great location just five minutes in car from Hokitika Town. Very spacious home and it was lovely and warmwith the log burner and heat pump. Beds so comfy and warm, we had the best sleep! Hosts very communicative and friendly. Go do the Hokitika Gorge walk and the Tree Top walk . “A well aged puzzle piece bach, in NZ forest, tucked down a dead end road. Surprising amount of traffic on the road during our stay. Neighbours were quite noisy also but the bach had everything we needed. Hot water for a shower was a bonus. The old Shacklock range is prone to smoking out the bach but I think we figured it out after a few days. Reliable cell service is back at the Orwell Creek Road turnoff, for those wondering. For a last minute booking, it worked out well and appreciate the good……
