very clean room and well keep common areas. i was a little worried this was going to be your typical beach blvd. hotel (iykyk), but was pleasantly surprised by hotel 39. it was very affordable and the accommodations surpassed my expectations. if you need a simple, affordable room that’s walking distance to shopping, bars, and gas stations…this is a great spot.

Room was nice but building not kept up. No iron when I needed one.🙁. Overall it was ok, sufficient for a budget stay, easy access to restaurants and the freeway. The only complaint I have is the the type of cleaning detergents used to clean the room…Luckily the windows can be open…i kept it open all the time.

The property as well as the room was clean and well maintained. The room was spacious and very comfortable. The price was great for the size of the room and location. Food places were near by as well as a liquor store next door was convenient for quick snack and drink needs. I would definitely stay here again.
