「Beautiful house with stunning views of Weymouth bay and Portland. The location was great it was nice and quiet but easy to get into Weymouth either by 30 minute walk on the Rodwell trail or by very frequent buses stopping a couple of minutes walk from the house. We didn't use our car at all whilst we were there. For eating out there is Billy Winters which is 5 minute walk and worth a visit and lots of lovely pubs and restaurants in Weymouth and Portland. There are also quite a few takeaways...

「The property was clean and well equipped. The location was perfect for exploring Portland Island and Weymouth sourroundings.The tv only had freeview, which was a bonus. No youtube, no tv on demand for the kids. The perfect screen detox.We would definitely recommend the stay.」

「Great communication, clean and thoughtful apartment - we had everything we needed. Thank you!」

「We had a really nice stay end of July, the kids loved the pool facilities. The area was quiet and close to beaches. There was plenty of crockery and things needed for a self catering stay for a few days. Jodi and Simon were very responsive in our communications up to and during the stay which was really appreciated.The induction hob took some getting used to and would recommend supplying a couple extra tea towels, but other than that- 5 stars! Would stay here again.」

「entrance hall was a bit of a letdown as obviously was being painted, the glass in the doors had paint on, windows rattled all night from the wind, very cold on last night as couldnt work out how to turn up heaters, coupboard door in kitchen came off, only 3 mugs & 4 of us, shower was very slow & leaked over bath, no-one told us upstairs shower was out of order & they had a leak in the lounge, shower upstairs was out of order」

「This is the second year that we've stayed here and will continue to book in the futue. It is a beautiful accommodation, local to amenities and in walking distance to the beach.I couldn't recommend this property and Alison high enough.」

「The property is spacious for two people; however, it was not properly cleaned when we arrived. Under the sink was a leak or something, and there were cobwebs in the kitchen area. The trays in the oven are full of oil, so when you're trying to cook something in the oven, the kitchen is full of that smell, and the cooker hood would not even get the smell out. The bed was uncomfortable, and the sofa in the living area was not good either. The entrance is from the road just in front of the bus stop,...

Our visit was sadly only for 3 nights - but we made the most of it and included a visit to the top of Portland lighthouse - where we had amazing views! We thoroughly recommend this house! 「Excellent property in a lovely part of Weymouth」

「We had a wonderful holiday at Wildflower Cottage. It’s a beautiful home, very comfortable and well maintained. The peaceful village had two shops, three pubs and two fish and chip shops all within easy walking distance. The fabulous, samdy Weymouth beach was a short drive and going to sleep to the sound of the seagulls was a real treat. We’ll be back! 」
