Wheeling Cheap Hotels

"If you book through Expedia, the staff will make sure you know it. I booked a room with 2 beds, was given a room with one bed. To sleep 4 people. I was treated very poorly. It was very hard to get help, I was spoken down to and the line to check in was an hour long just for my room to be given away! My room was $253 and I got no amenities or help "

"Room 216 was in need of some maintenance. AC unit wasn’t working properly, some kid used a blue pen to draw on the arms of the chair, and the water pressure wasn’t very good for the toilet or the shower. Otherwise staff was friendly and facility was decent"

"This resort was just ok imo. Pretty old and dated. Not the worst place I’ve been but needs work. Carpet old , old scratched up furnishings in the rooms. ATP no hotel should have a tub only glassed in showers. Didn’t use the amenities like the bowling alley as it was closed when we arrived. This place is def for golfers. Asked for a room w a view of the GC and what I got was a view of a parking lot and trees blocked the view of the course. Although Itasca itself didn’t have much to offer it is nearby Schaumburg that has plenty to do and that’s where I’ll be staying for any future trips to the area."

"Didnt have a room service. I need to goto gallery every time to pick up water and to even collect dairy creamer. For the price i paid its not worth it."

"The firet room I was given hadn't even been cleaned. Was switched rooms. The jext one had a chair that was ancient and the covering material was completelt worn out in several places. Curtains were certainly decades old as were the lamp shades. Body lotion refillable bottle was empty. Several parts of the hotel require renovation."
