“Very cute a-frame in pleasant neighborhood, home is totally private as it is surrounded by beautiful trees and shrubs. Home is very clean and well organized, lots of amenities and I loved that there was no tv though the boys grumbled a little at first (they ended the trip saying it was nice to not have the tv)! Super quick drive to Maxwelton beach. Host is very attentive and kind. Would highly recommend this property if you’re staying on Whidby!”

“Whidbey is a wonderful island. Enjoyed our visit with relatives in nearby Greenbank and appreciated the fenced yard for our dog. Easy drive as highway is close but quiet and peaceful in the house except when jets are flying! Husband enjoyed seeing the F 18’s land and take off. House had everything necessary for a comfortable stay.”

“We loved the inside of the house. Perfect for our getaway. As a Navy vet myself we absolutely loved the Navy fighter jets flying over. Watched them all evening. The Naval Air station is also a beautiful base. Close to ferry to go to Port Townsend. Cute downtown Coupville with the history of Practical Magic being filmed there. We also loved Port Townsend! Don’t forget to check that town out. So much to see and do around here that you could easily stay for a week or two or more!!!! Coming back to……

“This Whidbey Island home is an impeccable location for a family vacation. Amazing access to a private beach on the Admiralty Inlet with clear views of the Olympic mountains. The home is well equipped for eating in, enjoying a movie night, playing board games, and just soaking in the views. The house fit our needs for a large group and was sufficiently supplied. However…most of the beds were very uncomfortable. Especially the king room on the main floor. Vacasa, PLEASE replace this mattress before you rent this house again. One half of the mattress was unusable. Our group occupied every room and had no choice but to use it. “Our check in was easy and quick. Staff at front desk was friendly and efficient and provided some recommendations for local food and drink. Our view was of the parking lot but our overall stay was good. Several options for breakfast. Just wish there were more low carb options like other Best westerns. Pool was very small and the hot tub was out of order. I was disappointed about that but would stay there again. Close to stores, coffee, dining. ”
