「Gretchen and Chris are amazing hosts! They are so friendly, full of information to share and suggestions for the area, and make you feel at home. Their property is beautiful and comfortable. My husband and I toured around Oregon for 10 days and this was my favorite stay!」

「Cabin was spotless when we arrived, loved the cute little S’mores kit for Two they left for us. Also loved that they provided bundles of wood for the outdoor fire pit. Communication with the host was seemless and easy. Love the little note they left for us in the cabin when we arrived.」

「Historic building with creaky floors in a great downtown location. Initially I was on the third floor in a room facing the roof but I asked to move after noticing the lock was missing from the window. Access could have been gained by anyone else in a 3rd floor "rooftop garden" room. I moved to a 2nd floor room facing the railroad tracks which was noticeably noisier but I have to say the earplugs provided by the hotel do work!」

「Small, noisy but comfortable rooms. Very minimal no fridge, microwave or bench/chair. Great spot to access downtown Hood River. At checking we were handed our key cards and they said have a good stay. No instructions of when pool, sauna was open. No instructions about when and where coffee was an available. We were able to take our own drinks up to the roof top because it is not open for drinks or food yet.」

「The landscape after the window is opened is beautiful like a painting, you can see the train, bridge, snow, mountains, and boats. The pool is great and the hot pool is nice. The downside is that you can hear footsteps from upstairs on the lower floors.」

「Overall a good place to stay especially for the price. Staff was great and room was very clean. Property conditions were so so as it’s been a work in progress. My only complaint was expecting a 2 queen sized beds room and the beds were definitely full sized.」

「The breakfast was terrific but the lack of hot tub was disappointing and the pool was a little cold.」
