“The amenities in the property were very poor. The price I paid for one night stay was extort for the facilities on offer in the property. The heating only worked in the kitchen. The electric heaters in other rooms were present but could not be switched on. There was no hot water in the property. We tried following the advice in the property folder but were unable to turn on the hot water. The mattress in the main bedroom was very springy and uncomfortable to sleep on. Overall, very poor……

“This holiday was amazing. We took over four apartments between 12 family members. We travelled from Manchester and Stirling. What an experience! We couldn’t have dreamt for anything more spectacular and what a setting. Everything we needed was here. Fort Augustus was such a busy little village with cafes, gift shops, a couple of pubs. We travelled out on day trips to Drumnadrochit, Fort William, Inverness, Urquhart Castle. Three of the party even climbed to the summit of Ben Nevis. The grounds……

“This is a fantastic area with many opportunities to explore the wonderful Highlands. The apartment was spacious and lovely with many conveniences. We all enjoyed the amenities, only issue was swimming pool hours and slots were very limited so no chance to see the pool. However there are many things to do including tennis, chess, pool tables and walks. Very clean and comfortable accommodations and we would love to return! The area is extremely beautiful and the renovated Monastery a real treat!”

“We recently stayed at Highland Club in The Sacristy. We had an amazing holiday and absolutely loved the location and facilities on offer at The Highland Club. The Sacristy is a gorgeous apartment and has been decorated beautifully but it was let down by one thing - the shower! We weren’t able to use it for the whole week we stayed there which was a huge disappointment as it is a beautiful bathroom. The water was either freezing cold or boiling hot - no in between. This was never able to be fixed……

“I had rented this cottage for 5 days 4 nights. I had a few issues. I brought my 82 year old mother for here dream vacation. We entered the cottage and It was clean and very large. The 1st issue was there was no heat! My mother had to keep her coat on the whole time. 2. No internet 3. Not able to watch tv do not having internet. 4. No washing machine. 5. No one way to get a hold of anyone at the property. I sent an email to the property and no response as of 9-22-26. I sent an email to Expedia……

“Too many rules to follow. Property manager seemed eager to leave and not too helpful. Apartment was very spacious with a lovely view. However, the furniture was dated and a bit dirty.”
