Beautiful House - Reliable Communication

This is a great house and great proximity to the resort. Communication with the management company was fantastic. We will definitely rent this property in the future!

Amazing!!

Hands down, one of the best houses I have ever stayed in! Everything was spotless and very tastefully decorated… The beds were wonderful, including the bunkbeds which were very sturdy and everyone commented on how comfortable they were. We loved waking up every morning and having coffee on the deck, and loved the wonderful view of Winter Park. Had a blast watching the Olympics in the movie room and loved the hot tub as well… We loved every minute of our stay and would highly recommend to anyone.!

Family Ski trip

We had a fabulous time at the Lakota home! The house was clean and very well stocked with supplies. Short walk to the free shuttle, worked well for our 5yr olds. Winter Park Lodging was very responsive to our special needs, we had a 1 year old that needed crib, high chair, and early check in. We would definitely stay with Winter Park Lodging and at this Lakota location again!

Outstanding Family Getaway

This property was perfect for our large group, a 10-person group ranging in ages 3 to 60. With plenty of room to spread out our gather around the main floor fire place. The theater room was perfect for the late night crowd. All the rooms are nicely appointed albeit a bit cramped individually. The hot tub is well created for but the main deck, outdoor fire place was in op during our stay. Overall a great and memorable family Christmas vacation made possible in this very nice mountain home.

Perfect Ski Weekend

Perfect ski weekend. House was exactly as described in the listing. Very clean, well appointed, great views. Cozy but plenty of room for guests to spread out. We loved the ability to enjoy fire places in multiple rooms, and the TV room. Beds were comfortable, which was especially appreciated after our ski days. The management company was extremely helpful and communicative - I especially appreciated that they reached out to assist with ski passes and lift tickets given the COVID19 related changes in place for this season. We will be back!

Winter Park Getaway

We had an amazing time with our friends on this property!! We loved the amenities, the theater room was amazing for us with little ones, and the hot tub was an added bonus with the views!! The fire pit helped make yummy s’mores, with zero complaints!! It was in a great location, we didn’t have to drive car for activities or groceries etc! We were able to have 5 families get together very comfortably! Thank you!! We had a great time!!

Excellent Stay!

Had a group of 14 for a week and everyone had a comfortable place to stay and sleep. The views are amazing and you are close to the resort and town for food/shopping. The house was clean, up to date and offers multiple bathrooms, kitchenettes in order for multi-family groups to have separation when needed. We enjoyed the upstairs patio and fire pit every night - along with the hot tub! Couldn't have wanted more in a mountain get-away for a large group of multiple families. The management group were outstanding in their communication throughout the process and during our stay.

Multi-generational Gem

An AMAZING place if you’re looking for a family vacation that can accommodate all age groups. Our group had 1 year old to 70 year olds and there was plenty of space to not only have quiet space, but also family gatherings, dinners, game nights, and movie nights. The property management company was WONDERFUL when it came to answering our questions and even when one of our SUVs couldn’t make it out the driveway after an overnight snowfall. They responded promptly by coming to sand the drive and had the plow guy show up the next morning. We were close enough to the resort, grocery and restaurants that everything felt effortless. Only “hiccups”: It did get rather warm in the upstairs loft area despite the 10 degree weather (but fans were provided), we could have used a few more sets of towels for the bedroom, we couldn’t get one of the TVs in the bedroom to work, and bigger pots to accommodate cooking for a crew of 15+ (it only had one big stock pot on-site.) Regardless - this is a must and we WILL book it again :-)

Rented the Lodge

Well appointed lodge with great attention to details. This is a great place for family get togethers. Linens and bed coverings were new and clean. All the kitchen appliances including dishes were of good quality. Bathrooms were very clean and towels were of good quality. Picturesque views of Winter Park with fire places made it a perfect winter gateway. Kids enjoyed the hot tub after skiing. We would certainly come back and highly recommend to families Please add these two items to your kitchen gadgets - A cutting board to cut vegetables and a strainer to strain tea or soups

Perfect house for our family!

We loved this house for our family Christmas vacation! This as the first time we have taken a family vacation at Christmas time, and it couldn't have been better. From the moment we made our reservations until a day after, we were taken care of at every turn. And the view outside our window of the mountains and the slopes was perfect. We will be back! Absolute Perfection

Lakota Summit was quite literally perfect. We had a small reunion here and it accommodated everyone comfortably, and then some. As a luxury stay, it checked every box. The interior, appliances/amenities, and unmatched views were all the rage between my friends and I. Winter Park Lodging Company is also timely responsive and the most gracious host. We already miss it and will be back for sure.

Incredible condo with Gorgeous views!!!!

The moment you walk into Lakota Summit you will be completely floored with the attention to detail in this incredibly spacious, beautifully decorated property!!! This three floor condo oozes mountain charm in every room! The property provides absolutely everything you need if you are mere weekenders or in need of an extended stay! The highlight of our trip here was relaxing on the patio, fire pit on, gazing at the most gorgeous views of Winter Park resort!! If you want to venture into town, this prime location is only a 5 minute drive! A skiers/snowboarders dream if you ask me! Not to mention the many scenic hiking/biking trails available right outside your door! It is the absolute perfect getaway for anybody and everybody!! We will most definitely return!

Pure Luxury Home

If you're looking for a luxury home in Winter Park, this is it. The views of the resort are mind blowing and the decks are so big. The private hot tub also has gorgeous views and we spent lots of time in there. The beds are all new and I may have had my best night of sleep ever in the Master. The kids room is on the lower level which is so nice to let them have some space to escape to. There are two kitchens in this house which was so nice for early risers and late sleepers. And the best part...the theatre room! You'll get sucked into the huge couch and never want to leave. This home was truly the best we've ever stayed in (anywhere!) and we can't wait to come back this summer. Also, the communication with Winter Park Lodging Company was next to none. Margaret gave us great tips on what to do and where to eat. We loved it all!
